Dulce is 17 years old and was diagnosed with Leukemia in May 2016. Her life before cancer was just being a normal teenage girl who like boys and prom. Life with cancer has given her a new perspective on family, school and her future. Losing her hair as a teenager was devastating, because that’s what she thought about when she woke up in the morning. “How will I do my hair today?” After being crowned she felt beautiful, but being told she was beautiful without hair felt amazing.
