We're Officially An ArtPrize Nine Entry!

It's official: Crowns of Courage is entered in ArtPrize 2017! Like all ArtPrize entrants the next step for the Crowns of Courage team will be to connect with hosting venues to secure a space to exhibit our art.

There are almost 200 venues around the city were businesses and organizations make their spaces available to artists like us. Venues and artists seek each other out in an informal process that can take weeks. It's kind of like dating... either party can initiate a connection, and if the venue and the artists are a good fit, they formalize their connection and agree how and where the art will be displayed.

We've reached out to several of the more popular downtown venues, and we are hoping to formalize something soon. Here's our wish list for a venue:

1. Indoors

2. A roomy space, where we can exhibit our work in larger than life scale

3. Wall space for hanging or projecting art, or floor space for walk around displays

4. Easy to find, so we can share our art with as many folks as possible.
